This one caught me completely by surprise when it was supported by this emulator.

The first thing you may notice upon powering up is the Rock-Ola copyright. This is a vector game like the Cinematronics games, however, runs on a similar engine (though not without some bugs), and what the heck -- it's actually rather fun to play.

Your spaceman (presumably; it looks humanoid) wanders around the screen collecting energy packets and returning them to his ship, which flies by at steady intervals. So far, so good, right? Well, he's not alone. Flying demons chase him around the screen, and begin shooting after a while; their touch and shots are both lethal. If an energy packet is left alone for a while, it grows and attacks at high speed, albeit in an erratic movement path. And every so often, a giant worm-like demon will appear and kick some ass -- it sucks up energy packets and is temporarily invulnerable when doing so, it spits lightning, and it's worth big points if you hit it when it's vulnerable.

So where did it come from? Why is it here? Who knows? Just play it.

(See the keyboard remapping page for more info on getting Demon to work right.)

Technical note: in the demon.ini file, set MaxY to 790 and the scores will appear. See the .ini file editing page for more info on how this works. (And, yes, the game is going to flicker no matter what you do. The original may have been buggy.)
