This rink was very small, extremely narrow and still had 11 wooden posts running down the center of the floor to hold the building up. I think it may have been a barn or a horse stable, it has that wierd a configuration. The floor is concrete, extremely bumpy, cracked and coated with paint and rust. I only skated for about 15 minuts and didn't dare turn around. However, the rink owner was very pleasant and we talked for a couple of hours on rink operation. Even though the rink was horrendous, he said he usually had a lot of business because he was out in the middle of nowhere and there was nothing else to do. Roller City is the northern part of Cheyenne, on the far side of the airport. From I-25 get off at exit 12 and head north on Hynds Boulevard parallel to the interstate and then turn right at Western Hills Drive. Follow Western Hills and then Storey Boulevard head east for about a mile, then turn right onto Weaver Road. The rink should in the Indian Hills Shopping center, between a Pizza Hut and the American Legion Bingo Hall. Sykline is at the southern end of Laramie. From I-80, get off at exit 313 - US 287 take Soldier Springs Road from the interchange area to connect to Skyline Road. From I-25, get off at exit 189 - the US 20 Bypass and head west of US 20 for about a half mile, then get off the Rt 254 - Salt Creek Highway exit and head south on Salt Creek for about a mile to US 20 - Yellowstone Highway. Turn left to head east on US 20, then turn right onto Van Horn Avenue.
