INFORMATION GATHERING
a) Automatic Data Collection
For every visitor to the site, the Web Server automatically identifies
his or her domain information. The collection of this data is a
necessary part of the data transfer protocols used by the Internet. The
host also requires this data for logging purposes and uses it
exclusively for auditing purposes. All other information is data
which is knowingly provided by the visitor.
b) E-Mail Messages
In addition to links which permit the sending of e-mail messages to the
owner, this site may include courtesy and/or reciprocal e-mail links to
third parties. Where possible, any such links are configured with a
custom e-mail address that has been provided by said third party. All
such e-mails also include pre-filled subject lines by which the
recipient is made aware of the origin of said message. Any such
information is inserted directly into a new message form in the
visitor's default e-mail application. It is then up to the visitor to
compose and forward the message by way of his/her own Internet Access
Provider.
c) Interactive Features
The site may include Forms, Forums, Guest Books, or similar types of
interactive feature (Feature). The feature may be operated and/or
administered on the host's server, or by a third party. Visitor may use
the feature to engage in discussions of a private and/or public nature
(submission). It is implied that submissions will be stored in the
feature's database and become part of the public record of the site.
Depending on the feature's configuration, the submission becomes public
either immediately, or after being reviewed by the owner or an agent
designated by the owner (editor). The editor shall only edit a
submission if and when the editor's bona fide belief is that said
submission:
- Conflicts with the intended purpose of the Site.
- Threatens individuals, organizations or nations.
- Violates local, national, or foreign law.
In addition, it is implied that multiple, identical submissions shall
be removed.
d) Waiver of liability
Notice is hereby given that features may capture information and/or
set cookies on the visitor's computer, other than those which are
otherwise explicitly specified within this policy document. Such action
may be required for proper operation of a particular feature, and/or
where a feature is hosted by, or required by, a third party. The owner
may not be held liable or responsible for events and/or circumstances
that result from any and all use or misuse of said information. The
visitor is wholly responsible for being in full awareness and
understanding of all applicable Privacy and Terms of Use policies,
including those belonging to any applicable third parties.
